Technical Details

The project embraces the construction of a new railway station at Polykastro in northern Greece and the new railway line connecting it to the existing railway network, a new railway stop at Mikro Dasos and the restoration of the parallel road network. OBERMEYER’s assignment, as a leader of a consortium of Greek engineering firms and engineers, embraces the provision of engineering services for the design and the procurement of works for the project.

The design includes special provisions for the railway alignment and the structures at stations, namely the pedestrian underpasses, including construction phases, to ensure the ongoing operation of the existing railway line.

Services Provided

OBERMEYER’s scope of services includes the elaboration of the architectural and structural designs for the stations/stops and the elaboration of the tender documents for the procurement of works.
